Desired Weddings & Special Events is locally owned and operated by Sandy who lives in the same community she serves. The goal of Desired Weddings is to provide beautiful, well made gowns at affordable prices in a comfortable, relaxed environment with no high pressure sales people.

To quote Donald Trump, “you have to love what you do in order to be successful.” Never have there been truer words. Sandy started in the wedding industry over 18 years ago as a Wedding/Event Planner. That’s because we love making people happy.
In 2006 we opened Desired Weddings & Special Events bridal salon, a one stop bridal experience. As the business grew it became necessary to add new items to fill in the sizes and styles that brides wanted and couldn’t find anywhere else without driving over an hour away. In the fall of 2008, Desired Weddings moved to a larger store in the Providence St area. The store fills a need in Windham County for affordably priced gowns and more new inventory and lines were added to the mix.
